Following a rigorous and comprehensive tender process, FDM has secured the contract for production of the 2024 London Mayor and Assembly ballot papers.
The process, which was conducted by Transport for London (TfL) on behalf of the Greater London Authority (GLA), will see FDM take responsibility for the design, print, project management and delivery of approximately 18 million ballot papers ahead of the elections taking place on the 2 May 2024.
As the Mayor of London and London Assembly 2024 election ballot papers are a statutory requirement, FDM will become preferred supplier of choice, delivering the contract requirements to meet the high standards expected of LondonElects and all the London Boroughs.
Sales Director at FDM, Ian Forster, comments:
“We are delighted that the Greater London Authority has demonstrated their trust in us through our appointment as preferred supplier to the GLA ballot paper 2024 contract. As specialists in election services, it is a real privilege to be working on this landmark project. We are genuinely excited by the opportunity to deliver this highly complex, time-critical communication throughout London. We have a highly trained and skilled workforce that understands the challenges of managing critical communications. After all, we’ve been successfully delivering these contracts for more than 30 years.”
Alex Conway Deputy Greater London Returning Officer comments:
“As would be expected, the tender process for this contract is detailed and rigorous. Its complexity and responsibility cannot be underestimated. With the electoral experience that FDM has, alongside a proven track record of delivering against the strict parameters of such contracts, we are very pleased to announce that they are our preferred partner.”
With ambitions to become the UK’s leading supplier of outbound and inbound communications to Local Authorities and the wider public sector, this is a further success story for FDM.
