We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Alan Cruickshank as Business Development Manager.
With a career spanning more than 40 years’, Alan brings insight and experience from a variety of roles including agency-side, as owner of a print and digital print business, within multi-channel communications and most recently within data-driven marketing.
Based in Wakefield, yet working remotely to manage clients throughout the UK, Alan will support the growth of FDM Document Solutions as we continue to deliver our ambitious five-year strategy. He will take responsibility for attracting new client opportunities, while also extending the services we provide to existing accounts.
Alan comments: “I’ve had a varied career and can see that this position will be no different. While I’m looking forward to applying the knowledge and skills that I have developed over the years, I still consider every day to be an opportunity to learn.
“FDM Document Solutions has some ambitious targets in place and showcasing how we can apply our products and services to support and improve customers communications will be fundamental to delivering against these aspirations.
“I already feel that I am part of the team and am excited by the opportunities that we have and the journey that is ahead of us.”
Ian Forster, FDM Sales and Marketing Director, comments: “We had heard very good things about Alan and know that his knowledge of the industry will certainly be of benefit as he joins us at this exciting time.
“He brings with him a range of experience and transferable skills that we can already see will add value to our clients and provide us with further ways in which we can support our customers. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Alan to the team. We know he is going to be a real asset to the business.”
